CBHI Air Pressure Testing Services

CBHI air pressure testing service fee is $150.00 per each performed air pressure test. The air pressure test is a designated service fee in addition to the home inspection fee. Air pressure testing services are only provided at the time of performed CBHI home inspection services and must be confirmed with Colorado's Best Home Inspections LLC at the time of order confirmation prior to inspection date/time. 

CBHI does not turn on or off water supply valves within a subject property, it is the responsibility of the owner of the home to have the subject property inspection ready. CBHI does not offer or provide stand alone Air Pressure Testing Services.

Symptoms That May Require an Air Pressure Test

If in the event water services are only “to the street” and/or are shut off and not available on and operating within the subject property at date/time of the CBHI home inspection (i.e. you walk in the door and can’t turn on a faucet and water comes out or can’t flush a toilet) you may want to consider CBHI air pressure testing services.

Benefits of Air Pressure Testing Your Home

CBHI air pressure testing services provide a general evaluation of the integrity of the interior plumbing supply lines only, to test for major air leaks in the plumbing supply lines; by reporting how the interior plumbing supply lines “hold” the air pressure, i.e., If an air leak is suspected most likely if water would be/was introduced there would be a water leak(s); thus further evaluation of the entire plumbing system/plumbing system supply lines, fixtures, elements, and components would be required, reported and recommended by CBHI.

Air pressure testing services are provided in lieu of or instead of the visual inspection/testing process of the plumbing system, fixtures, elements, and components as described in the InterNACHI Standards of Practice (SOP).
